Privacy Policy for the Pyramid Discord Bot

1. Introduction

Pyramid is a custom, private moderation bot built exclusively for the RagePluginHook Discord server. This policy outlines what data the bot collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

2. Data Collection

To function correctly and keep the server safe, Pyramid collects and processes the following data:

• Discord User IDs & Role IDs: To identify users, apply moderation actions (like timeouts), and verify bypass permissions.
• Message Content & Attachments: The bot reads message text and extracts image attachments (URLs) uploaded to the server.

3. Data Usage

The collected data is strictly used for automated moderation:

• Images are downloaded and analyzed via OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and pHash (Perceptual Hashing) to detect spam, scams, and malicious content.
• User IDs are cached temporarily to delete recent spam messages efficiently.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• All analysis is performed on a private, self-hosted server.
• Original image files are stored temporarily for manual staff review and are automatically deleted after 14 days.
• We do not use message content or images to train AI models. The Gemini API is only used for real-time inference during the analysis process.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, share, or distribute any collected data to third parties. Data is strictly processed for the security of the RagePluginHook Discord server.

6. User Opt-Out

Because Pyramid is a core security and moderation tool for the server, users cannot opt-out of this automated filtering while participating in the server.
